Attention Waterfront Law Students! There are still places available on the Deakin Law School‘s Indian Law Program which is due to take place at Symbiosis University – Pune in December 2015.
This Faculty-led tour will allow you to visit Delhi, Agra to see the Taj Mahal as well as studying in Pune before finishing your program in Mumbai with a visit to the Bombay High Court. This program will provide students an in depth understanding of the contemporary developments in terms of legal and policy changes in the Indian Corporate Environment. The unit will also provide the students with an overview of the current Indian legal system, India’s law making mechanisms. Students will be able to appreciate the paradigm shift in the role of corporates in relation to social responsibility and accountability in modern context. Before or after the program, there will also be opportunities for students to undertake 10 day practicums at quality Law firms in India or at the Bombay High Court which can be considered as part of your 30 day practical requirement for your Bachelor of Laws.
