The legal profession has one of the highest rates of anxiety, depression and other mental health problems, and the signs can often start in law school. According to SurviveLaw, law students are almost three times more likely than other students to experience depression at some point in their university lives.
If your gut says something’s not quite right with someone, chances are that they might need a bit of extra support from the people around them. Today (10th September) DLSS Geelong encourages Deakin University‘s law students to ask each other – #RUOK? After all, healing and help can begin with just one conversation. You can find mental health resources and more information about R U OK Day by visiting their website, especially the link
